Jimmy's relationship with his mother (history shown in the latest episode) has explained a few things for me.
Yeah, I thought it was a good end to the season.
It can be slow going at times, but I guess that's the era depicted.
I, strangely, really like the Van Alden story & character!
Good last episode I thought, probably easier to not disappoint when the general pace of the show is that way.
SPOILER:
I guess Jimmy's death is the only way it could of ended, he was right there, glad I didn't see that coming. Nuckie is still bad ass when he needs to be.
Shame the whole Darmaty storyline is now pretty much gone, really enjoyed the whole plotline between the two of them.
And lol @ Madge signing it over to the church. Nuckie is going to be ****ed!
Some good lines in that episode.

Ely: There's a character named Ely?
oh and...
"Flip a coin, when it's in the air you'll know which side you're hoping for" is soooo true!
