It was considered, but the OAR Nazis told them they'd be in trouble if they did.

So that'll be just under £400 quid again if you want the whole 7 series at £51 a pop.
After having a pile of VHS from when it was still popular on TV getting chucked in the bin I think I'll wait...

When I bought the series on DVD, I shelled out brand new, and bought most of the sets at retail in actual shops. I remember paying £120 for one boxset. Of course by the time we'd got to Season 7, I had discovered online shopping, and was paying £60-70. But today, I wouldn't pay more than £30 for a season, £40 on Blu.

I watched the sampler disc last week and they have done a great job with these. The jump in quality is very obvious, so much so that the 13 seconds of upscaled footage in Sins of the Father sticks out like a sore thumb. Wish they'd put Q Who on the sampler, as that's one of the better early episodes.
Probably won' shell out for them on BD though. I just don't have the time to watch them and the show is on TV every day on one channel or another...

I'm not that much of a fan of Star Trek to part with hard-earned for it. IMHO there's only about a quarter of the episodes (I reckoned it at eight episodes per season) I could stomach watching again.

Looks like they've found the 13 seconds that were missing from Sins of the Father on the sampler disc. It should be sorted for the S3 boxset
