Fringe finale = epicness beyond words!

The Justified finale was awesome too - it's been a pretty great week for TV!
Yeah Justified was very good end to very good season.

I've blasted my way through Fringe and at beginning of season 2.  Think I'll be up to speed by the end of the month, just need to keep avoiding any information anywhere (as I already know bits and pieces from when I'd been looking to decide where to give it another chance).

Got S1 and 2 of Breaking Bad because of recommendations above.. Watching Sopranos S3!) lately so not sure when we'll be able to watch it... Is it similar to anything else?
It's a bit of strange one Breaking Bad.  Hard to give a similar show.

It's a dark comedy at times (some bizarre moments in it), but for the most part just a normal drama and some really good episodes.

Can't think of a good comparitive, Dexter isn't a very good comparison, but it's the most similar show for tone that I can think of (I'm not too happy with that comparison even as I type).

Appreciate it's obviously hard to compare.  But.... would you say it was as good as Dexter?  Which I think is superb. Happy
Finishing watching S1 of Fringe about 6 weeks back and couldn't go straight into S2 - so that's why we started on Sopranos.  Quite enjoyed it, if a bit silly at times.  The 'doc' has some great lines though. Happy

Personally I think it is, probably would say I actually prefer it to Dexter (which reminds me I've not seen the most recent season of that, since heard it wasn't as good as previous).

RE Breaking Bad, put it this way, the missus and I, her sister, and their mum rewatched Season 1 again before season 2, as it was so good. I wouldn't be surprised if when we get round to season 3/anyone decides to show it in UK, we'll watch 1 and 2 again!

Breaking Bad is one of few programs we can watch a couple of episodes a night, a few nights on the trot. I think Dexter 1 funnily enough is the only other show we've done that!

Super Admin

I'm sure there are some great suggestions for TV series in this mammoth thread, but 90+ pages and growing is a heck of a hard way to locate them. Sad

(this is me encouraging more threads rather than one single one, now I must go and work out how to split the Linux thread into multiple ones)
