Thought I'd drag this up rather than create a new thread.

There's 2 new (ish) shows on at the mo that I can recommend:
Eli Stone - drama/comedy about a lawyer who has a brain aneurysm who starts to see things, which his acupuncturist says are prophecies. Stars Johnny Lee Miller and is quite entertaining IMHO

Breaking Bad - a drama (although some might say black comedy) about a high-school chemistry teacher with money problems who is diagnosed with lung cancer ...decides to 'cook meth' with one of his ex-pupils and gets in to all kinds of problems doing it. Just watched episode 6 last night and I'm really enjoying it.

Also currently watching:
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - kind of enjoying this, but not overly fond of it.
Lost series 4 - I might as well, since I've watched the rest of the seasons!
Jericho series 2 - just watching to find out what happened after the first season. Enjoyed the first season very much, but so far this season isn't grabbing my attention that much.
New Amsterdam - got the first 2 episodes and will watch the first one tonight, the story sounds ok from what I've read.

Any others that people can recommend for me to watch? I need about 10 shows/episodes a week to watch (2 x 35 min train journeys Grinning)

Have watched all episodes of Weeds, The Unit, Prison Break, Dexter, Heroes, The Big Bang Theory, Flight Of The Conchords, The Riches, Kyle XY...plus a few others I can't remember Grinning

The Riches comes back (only 7 episodes in the season though... Sad ) on the 18th.

Thanks for the heads up xfg.
Will be interesting to see where they go with that given the ending of the first season!

Yeah, should have mentioned that I've watched that one.
Zak (or Zach) is the funniest part of the show though.

Got bored of Reaper halfway into 3 episode, just seemed too predictable, and cliche ridden. Devil steals the show. I think ii would be better if it was 30 mins and didn't have the crap "will they won't they" thing going on between main guy and cute girl.

Mad Men started on BBC this, week, has been on in USA already, 1st episode was really good, about an advertising company in the 60s.

Dirty Sexy Money starts on 4 soon, that looks interesting, has got a 2nd series, so will give that a go.

The Kill Point started on Bravo last night, that looks like it could be good.

Welcome to the Captain Happy hollywood types living in an old building which is apartment complex, some nice lines and good start with interesting characters including Raquel Welch as a past it actress who still thinks shes 20 and an a list star, man she still looks fine.

New Amsterdam, cop whos cursed (gifted) with immortality by native american and will only start to age when he finds his true love ....aaawwww lol, not too bad actually only couple episodes so far tho

Sci-fi mini series called Tin Man which im surpised no one has mentioned, its their re-imaging of the Wizard of Oz and is worth watching just for that, will either love or hate it and prob suss out which in 1st hour, worth a peek tho
