Cracking fight, not a Khan fan so glad he got stuffed again although if i am honest I had him winning by a point (exactly the same scorecard as Watt except the 11th round which I gave to Khan). Peterson fough a stunning fight really, Khan well i do not think I have ever seen a fighter complain so much to the ref while fighting such a negative and dirty fight, and the post match interviews showed one of the reasons I have such an intense dislike for Khan, Peterson (admittedly easier when you have won) was a gentleman and made some good points about the points deductions, Khan again cried like a biatch all the way thru...maybe next time you are looking to set up a fight with a legend you will build it up after you have beaten the guy in front of you.
I'm not Khan's greatest fan and thought he lost the fight, but the fact he took quite a few big punches and stood up and took them and was boxing outside, meant I was gaining a bit of respect.
His after match comments were disgrace though, it's one thing saying not agreeing with the decisions and saying the ref got it wrong, but he went well OTT with his comments "this is why you don't get boxing in Washington etc etc".
Terrible loser.
Absolute joker, calling out Mayweather in advance of the fight also.
Also Khan is after an enquiry into the judges. I agree. How the f*ck did one of the judges score it 115-110 to Khan considering there were 2 point deductions also! Absolutely bizarre.
Was a great story for Peterson winning though after being homeless and working his way up. As you said it's easy to come across good in the after match interviews, but he did seem genuinely respectful, especially when he said that he would give Khan a rematch as he was good enough to give him a shot at the titles in the first place.
Khan is only 25, so he does have years to work his way up to actually get to the top levels against the best fighters, but he's never going to be the greatest that he seems to think he is. Ego is required in boxing, but his is completely out of control. The personalised theme music is embarrassing.

Mills he took big punches from someone who is not a puncher tho, think he has 11 ko's in his career, if it had been a recognised puncher he would have been out of there imho
Oh yeah I agree, Peterson isn't a big hitter, but he caught some pretty heavy shots and at least Khan took them and continued.
In his early fights before Prescott when he was still fighting taxi drivers etc I remember in one fight someone caught him with a punch and he spent the whole round running around the the ring looking the most scared person I have ever seen, constantly looking to his corner!
Since then and Prescott they have done their best to keep him away from anyone with any power.
So it kind of impressed me that he could take a few punches and then fight on the outside.
I agree completely though that a heavy hitter would have him out on his feet.
Got to be a big concern long term, as it'll be a big jump for him to step up to Welterweight, even excluding his fantastical claims for Mayweather/Pacquiao etc etc.
