I thought you had your sights set on Tuncay? Decent player but not sure he can do it consistently.

Barry will probably either stay at Villa or head to Liverpool I reckon.

Bit of a clear out of the youngsters:

Quote:
Tottenham have released Portuguese centre-back Ricardo Rocha after his contract expired.
The 30-year-old defender joined Spurs two and a half years ago but struggled to hold down a regular place and only made 18 appearances.
Reserve team players Simon Dawkins, Kyle Fraser-Allen, Cian Hughton, Danny Hutchins, David Hutton, Jacques Maghoma and Takura Mtandari have also been released, along with Academy players Saulo Asajile, Mark Clare, James Dalton and Ajet Shehu.

Hey chaps,

saw last night that a striker has been saying he wants to move to WHL and play for you Spurs.

Who is the striker I hear you ask . . .

and

Djibril Cisse would be my answer

I seem to remember Cisse trying to engineer a move to WHL before.
In the recent past too.
If Tottenham wanted him, surely they wouldn't have bid £20million for Jones instead?

I thought Sunderland had first refusal for buying Cisse when the loan deal ran out end of this season
Hence no one could bid for him !!

Sunderland have said they dont want to take up that option so he is now available - asuming his club will sell !!!

I'd have to trawl back through the 2008/2009 Tottenham thread, but I recall posting 'something' about Cisse months ago.

Rumours abound on other forums that Zokora's off to Seville, glad I renewed now.
Is Kanoute still out there? Possible swap?

You must have a short memory to even discuss this as a possibility.
Kanoute is a c***.
Decided playing for Mali was more important than playing for Spurs, when we were fighting relegation, then missed a pre-season trip as well.
He nailed his colours to the mast in 2003, f*** him. Angry

We're in for Van Nistelrooy, allegedly.
Available for under £2million, as he's been told he can leave.
Wants £70k a week though, which could prove a problem.
