Aye, £6million I believe.
Shame we're not getting any of it like.

Is Kanoute still out there? Possible swap?

You must have a short memory to even discuss this as a possibility.
Kanoute is a c***.

Fudge me bowf, never said I wanted him, but with HR bringing back Keane as captain, I wouldn't be suprised if he had sounded out Campbell.

I assume you mean Kanoute?
Perhaps Harry would 'sound out' Kanoute.
But I would hope someone within WHL would give Harry a gentle judge and tell him why it, perhaps, isn't such a good idea.
Same with Berbatov.
Whilst I'd welcome someone with his ability back, I wouldn't welcome Berbatov.
Again, short memories tend to forget him ruling himself out of the team because his "head wasn't in the right place".
A £40k per week head that wasn't in the right place?
Otherwise fit?
Then we lose to Sunderland?
I think it's a moot point though, as I think if Berbatov goes anywhere it will be abroad.
He's long expressed his interest in playing in Spain or Italy, I forget which.
I doubt he'll go to any other English team.
Unless, of course, he does a 'Gareth Barry' and throws all his morals out of the window for some cash.
"I'll only go to CL football"
"Here's £80k a week, Gareth"
"Where do I sign"

Read at weekend Redknapp has been told to offload the surplus before bringing in new signings - meaning he is worried about missing out on players

Apparently the likes of :

Bent, Huddlestone, Jenas, Gomes, Pava, Bentley and about 5 others could well be on the chop list!!!

Competent

looking at the signings in january and the players linked now (barry, rvn, johnson) it looks like harry wants players he knows can do it in the premier league. i guess the comolli days of little known foreigners are truly over - a bit of a shame, no more berbatovs and modrics? no more rochas + boatengs though.

it'll be interesting to see if harry spends big on a left winger - it might mean modric being moved into the middle.

the out list is pretty straightforward - bent, giovani, boateng, pavlyuchenko, zokora. - harry has made it pretty obvious he doesn't rate them. hutton, bentley and jenas will probably go if better replacements are found.

Hutton and Giovanni Dos Santos were on the list i saw

Supposedly he wants to bid for Downing but this need to sell first is holding things up (amongst other bids like Crouch and a few others that escape me ATM)
