hi guys,  i've got a friends laptop, & we're trying to upgrade the CPU,  it's currently got a Celeron M 1.4 in it, code SL8ML

it's a socket 478, & i was hoping my old mac mini skt 478 would run in it, but unfortunately it won't boot with it in (core duo, which i believe is a socket 478 "p" rather than "M")  basicaly i'm looking for a "best geuss" on a cpu thats likely to be compatable, i know it's a bit of a shot in the dark, as it depends on what the lappy's board will be able to recognise (HP Easynote R1004)  but as the cpu is easy to change i'm willing to have a few punts, since most of these cpu's can be had for £10/£15 off fleabay with a bit of patience

Edit= A bit more info =  this is printed on the cpu = 1.4/1m/400    speed/type/FSB ?
