Strange Bluetooth/Satnav conflict
posted by Pete-MK on Tuesday, 9th March 2010, 20:03

Elite Donator

had a Garmin 215W for a month now, and I initially paired it to my LG GW520 via bluetooth. Everything worked ok for that first month, but over the weekend I updated the Maps on the satnav, and the software on the phone (software on the satnav unchanged).

Now, when I pair the phone to the satnav, after about 30 seconds the satnav shuts down (or restarts is connected to a power supply). Initially I thought it was the map update on the Garmin, but a trip to the satnav demonstration section on monday told me that the phone shuts down the satnav on the older map software too.

Any ideas/Comments/solutions?
