Nope, but I am looking at getting the HTC Desire which should be out very soon. check it out as well if you like the HTC phones, its basically a Nexus One, same same but different as they say. Should have the HTC Sense UI on top as well.

My new taxi radio is an HTC.
Dunno which model though as it's completely rewritten as a Taxi unit.
GPS via Tomtom on it is quite slow at responding to turns etc and takes it's time booting up.

If you know where i can find it's model I'll check but don't think it's the "Hero"

Mostly Harmless

I bought one for the other half when they were first released (it was the Hero or an iPhone) and she loves it. At the time she was veering towards the iPhone, but changed her mind after about 2 weeks of use (and finding the Google app store).

Only problem we found was that it was initially slow / unresponsive, but that was resolved with an HTC firmware. I am guesing a new one would already have the latest.

I've had a stack of HTC's (Diamond 2 at the moment) and have never had any real issues with them.

I got mine yesterday so far so good. Looks very nice, very slick and fast. The screen is fantastic watched a video on it and was awesome. Signal seems a little weaker than my previous phone but I have moved from Voda to O2 so it might just be that at home.

As for downloads so far I have updated google maps and downloaded the beebplayer. For music etc I am going to be using doubletwist its been recommended by many a person.

Anyone has any good app recommendations let me know.
