A friend of mine when we were kids used to copy C64 games and then take them back for a refund, sometimes they gave it to him, othertimes the realised he was taking them for a ride.
Then he'd just try another store from the same chain.

wow, how many hours? I'm guessing not many They've promised loads of DLC, but wouldn't have thought you'd need it after a weekend!Played it a fair bit on the weekend, but it still didn't last as long as I was expecting. Ended on a whimper as well. The final level was a lot easier than much of the stuff that came before it.

Just started playing this morning, done the first mission, which I really enjoyed reminded me of Bioshock ![]()
However, I am going to have to get used to the PS3 controller pretty quick, mouse is so much easier.
Rage got an update yesterday, which (if you have quad core) introduces texture sharpening for close up objects. Though it got a bit confused and said I didn't have a quad core when I did, but let me turn it on anyway.
Seems a nice cheap visual change if you have a decent enough CPU.

Completed this, and I'm a bit frustrated. The hardest bit for me came a lot earlier on in the game, the end was easy and over very quickly, a real non event. What no end boss?
I couldn't finish any of the races I wanted to do the moment I got the end quest, because the raceways were closed. And once I'd done the final quest the end video was pretty rubbish, and after that I couldn't even go back and carry on with the races.
The whole game was fun, the graphics at times were pretty impressive, wonderfully smooth, but where was the ending?
Have I been spoilt by Doom 3/Bioshock/Crysis/Crysis 2? Or is this now the Monty Python method of game making, where you don't need a punchline?
