What's the advantage on using it on the iPhone 3g anyway. From memory when they first announced it the main features I wanted only worked on the 3GS and 4 anyway, which is why I didn't bother (and since the problems don't have intention of bothering).
Did it let you organise the apps etc into folders on the 3G, is that about the only advantage?

yeah, & although it's very usefull for clearing up the clutter, it's not worth the performance trade off, not by a long shot ![]()

My iphone 4 turned up today. It's definitely quicker than the 3G, and just a bit faster than the 3GS. One thing I don't really like is the placement of the sim card tray. Where it is makes it harder to change the sims around (I know that most people don't do that, but I do).
Apart from that, it's a bloody nice phone/media player.
