that is quite depressing, I heard loads or rave revies on new album, heard a couple of songs, and even more than before to me it sounded like overhyped pop/rock from a band who were trying to be Primal Scream from a few years ago Sad

See I could "kind of" understand if it was innovation in music for the year, as what they did with their album was pretty innovatite but the use of sound in the title doesn't help.


The album was innovative as basically they had 20 songs realeased on the website and you created your own album from your favourites for this song and could create your own artwork (possibly customise pre-existing or something).

Don't think it's the greatest idea in the world and doubt it would be copied much (although would be a very good idea for bands doing best of albums you would think).

The problem there is the word "standout"

It's like saying "innovative" and "The Feeling" in the same sentence.
