Think this is the album that will help push them into the mainstream.
Most people haven't heard of them, but headlining Leeds next week and this is the 3rd highly rated album they've done.
I don't usually like slower music either, but have really gotten into them.
Couple off the new album
A few of their older best songs

I have both albums now, but have to say that the Suburbs hasn't grabbed me (so far).
Admittedly I've been listening to Hockey & Eagles of Death Metal over and over so not much else has got a look in (except The Drums).
I prefer the Foo Fighters cover of "Keep the Car Running" as well ![]()
I found it more easily accessible than the first two to be honest, although been getting more into the first two recently aswell.
I love Eagles of Death Metal, but Hockey strangely after loving Too Fake and waiting on the album for a while I just haven't really been able to get into it.

Saw them live on Friday at the Leeds festival. In the words of Chris Kamara "Absolutely sensational Jeff".
I wasn't convinced what they'd be like given I don't like slower music, especially so on live performances at times, but they were brilliant.
Unfortunately due to the lack of them being mainstream, meant it was one of the most sparse crowds I've ever seen at a headline act ![]()
Gutted I didn't get tickets for the December tour now, but as at the time I didn't know anyone else who wanted to go I'd have had to buy a few tickets and then sold the spares to other people I convinced to go. Obviously as wasn't sure how I'd like them either, didn't fancy the outlay.
Ah well at least I've got to see them once.
