I would have been going especially for Noel Gallagher, but then realised the other day its at Royal Albert Hall, used to do it in Manchester Sad

I take it you've seen second Crooked Vultures album is going to be released this year?

They're nailed on for Glastonbury anyway, so I'll get to see them there.

Thank god for Karma.

Last time Juls you got to see the Foos at Wembley, but I managed to catch the 2nd to last show before they finished touring in Vegas.

You get too see Them Crooked Vultures in London again, but I get to see them the day I'm in Vegas again Winking Tongue Tongue

All the big bands seem to follow us.

The Dead Weather are on the following night in the Palms Grinning Amazing scenes for me as it's them that I missed last year because of my f*cking car going on route to the gig. Grinning

By the way as soon as mate said about Dead Weather I realised why they are both on, it's Coachella (US Glastonbury) up the road that weekend, so obviously everyone's in and about the area for that. That has an awesome line up by the way, but couldn't justify missing most of the time in Vegas, as they don't do day tickets.

By the way Juls, on a side note, don't know if you've played much of The Gaslight Anthem, but they're well worth checking out and just announced their tour dates for the end of June. Obviously anything northern clashes with Glastonbury (so we're guessing they're there but want to see them separately aswell Sad ).

Get the 59 Sound album if you want to check anything out. They're the ones who came on with Bruce Springsteen at Glastonbury and who he did a song with during their set aswell (sure you know this anyway).

Nightmare.

At least you've seen once already.  I went last time when I wasn't up to it and although I made it through I couldn't enjoy it properly Sad

I'm not sure what the deal is with second album as it's due to be recording soon, but also the Foos and Queens of Stone are due back in the studio Aug/Sep to record new albums also.  Can't imagine the album being released without a tour though.

Unless they go back to do some work on the albums, then get back together for the tour late in the year?

I take it you've seen Taylor Hawkins has the new album out in next couple of months, so you'd assume they'll be touring also.

Nightmare............I wish I'd known before now or I'd of had your ticket, so i would have had to take the day off work to come & get it, it would have been worth it.

Get well soon Hunny Happy

Report from my friend who went last night was that it wasnt their best show. Homme swapped the Stoli for a corona and there was little banter (been warned to be on best behaviour due to it being a charity thing maybe?) Obviously still gutted I missed it but there was no way I could of even driven to London I felt so rubbish.

Yes due out April 20th I think and a tour to follow.
Few samples of new tracks on their Myspace page - Im liking what I hear but then again their 1st album has never left my car Happy

Goodness only knows when a 2nd TCV will be done. Friends are seeing them in LA soon and they always have a chat with Grohl so I shall report back with what they find out Winking

Have tickets to see them on June 8th Grinning

They are playing a tiny venue in Southampton so it should be good (and its literally on my doorstep!) They played Scala in London last week and had Brian May and Roger Taylor join them on stage. Everyone who went had a blast so Im really looking forward to it
