Hardware Forum - Help with upgrading firmware on TV please - Page 1

Hello folks
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
I got a Samsung PS51D550 51-inch Widescreen Full HD 1080p 3D Plasma and I was looking for a firmware upgrade but couldn't find it?
The TV shows current version as '2011/10/14_001026'
Anybody know please? and the best way to install it? ( I assume via USB stick)

Firmware is usually on the manufacturer's website.

And yes, it says to put it on a USB stick.

i checked it out and it appears that the firmware on that site is the same as the one thats already on the TV.
I guess ill have to wait for samsung to release a new firmware...

But you said yours was dated 14/10 - that one says it's dated the 26/10, so I would have thought that was an upgrade?
