LG RHT497H channels in HD

Hi all,
I have an LG RHT497H which is working fine and receives all DTT channels but not the channels broadcast in HD. Is there a code or software I can change for this problem. Can pick up HD channels on LG 42" Plasma TV perfectly. So am lost that I cannot record the HD channels on the DVD/HDD box.
Would appreciate any help from you guys out there.
Thanks in advance..

It might be because the LG RHT497H isn't a Freeview HD box.   It's only a Freeview + box with 1080p upscaling.

Sorry.

Hi J Mark Oates.
Thanks for replying so fast and sorting that out. Unit is now disconnected and will be returned tomorrow. I have the sales rep's business card which clearly states in writing on the back (the box is full HD). Was shopping around for a while for this kind of product and have cards from various stores. Consumer laws are very strict here. The preverbial **** will hit the fan tomorrow.
Thanks again, Gene.
