Hardware Forum - Samsung BDP1500 DivX problem - Page 1

My Samsung BDP1500 (14 months old and out of warranty, of course!) has stopped playing certain DivX discs which it previously played. I have contacted Samsung who advised me to update the fimware, which I have done, but the problem persists.

Plus I had to update the firmware using the disc method as the player would not load the files from an USB. Could the two problems be connected?

Can anyone help pleaae?
