Here is a Couple of Trutech Hacks for you to try

Turn the Player On And Open the Disk Tray / Lid ( Leave Open ).
Using the Remote Control Enter Numbers 3 5 9 7 ( A Hidden Menu will Appear Showing the Current Region Code).
Using the Remote Control Press the Enter Button Until you Reach The Required Region Code ( 1~ 6 For Region Specific or 9 For Region Free)
Close The Disk Tray / Lid .

or this one

1 - Turn the Player On And Open the Disk Tray / Lid ( Leave Open ).
2 - Using the Remote Control Enter Numbers 8 1 3 2 8 ( A Hidden Menu will Appear Showing the Current Region Code).
3 - Using the Remote Control Press the Enter Button Until you Reach The Required Region Code ( 1~ 6 For Region Specific or 9 For Region Free)
4 - Close The Disk Tray / Lid.

Thanks Hackeroonie, but none of them works on the Trutech T600-D, but let me know if you got more hack to let me try on the player.

Yes - a hack for this unit would be useful! - currently sold by Target in USA for $29 or around £16!!! - any ideas / thoughts would be acknowledged.

Been there . . . . tried them - no joy.

That's where it mentions that 'many Trutechs are actually Cyberhomes badged'

There Must be a hack for this cheapo! - Sue you out there?

Ok! I found this one and is running with my player T600-D:

1. Press SETUP
2. Press 8, 8, 8, 8
3. Press NEXT CHAPTER (4 times)
4. Current RC should be displayed , upper right
5. Select RC with LEFT/RIGHT (255= codefree)
6. Press SETUP
7. Turn the player off
