LG RHT387H Op Codes

Hi All,

I'm in the UK. Does anyone have the default op codes for the LG RHT387H? I inadvertantly changed some values trying to navigate the code page before I had written them down.

Thanks

Ted

Hello,
unfortunately I modified my opcodes and the DVD-recorder doesn't work anymore. It turns on but it doesn't display anything on TV screen. I cannot so access to service menu because I can't see anything on TV screen. Is there a way to reset opcodes to default??
Thank you in advance

I am in the same situation as above.  Followed a Hack Code, pressed ok and the DVD Recorder powered down.  When I put it back on, I get no Picture on the TV (NO Signal from the Recorder) although it now plays Region 1 DVD's, I cannot watch anything.  I cannot even watch TV or anything on the Hard Drive.

Please help us!

Hi gtrayno,
I have a RHT387h also, I was also thinking about hacking the dvd regional code, but after reading this thread I won't bother, any chance of  revealing the website where you found the false hack.
If you bought your box in the UK and can still access the op menu i may be able to post on the default menu codes ?

Only just spotted this post.
Chances are you've enabled or disabled a certain form of output with one of the hex pairs (I really wish that hex display hack had never been found for LG/Aiwa) and you may have as you say, completely screwed yerself up (unless you do a press by press hoping to get each step 100% right to return it to original code with no display, tricky but can be done!) but you also might find that connecting up any other output options it has may result in a watchable output.

So that's Scart, composite, HDMI and even RF if it has it, try them all... it can only leave you where you are now but if you DO get some output then either try the menu pages for display output type or try to  change the codes back to their original values (which I can only hope you wrote down before changing them)

If someone can identify the hex pair on the model for the video output they might be able to give you a step by step button press to get there "blind"
