Should threads with the intent of only showing a video clip be in their own category?

Yes! Give them their own category cos I'm fed up clicking for a read to find a clip!!

Erm, no, why would you want to do such a daft thing?!

Why would I care? Pass the doughnuts!

I don't mean a video posted to an already active thread to show something within it, say if someone asked about YLOD ps3 repair and someone linked a PooToob clip, I mean in the instance where a video is posted for the sake of it being a video (examples: Mr S's recent Ant City (which is cool btw) and Pool Trick shot threads.

Don't ask me WTF happened ot the formatting up there!
It threw an exception at first saying the question was too long (cos I had prefixed it "simple really," so I edited that out and got the above Cool

[edit] and unless someone clicked at the exact same time I did, it's not recording results correctly either <sigh> Mr S, wanna delete and fix da poll please? [/endedit]

I was thinking about auto-prefixing threads with videos in them with [VIDEO], if that's any use. The trouble with a whole forum for them is a) all the people who only ever view the general forum will see even less traffic and think the site is dead, and b) often they are only of interest to certain forums.

I don't even open threads started by RJS while at work as it's pointless. Youtube spammer!!!

Well, you can either offer suggestions to make it busier, post more yourself, promote it on other forums/twitter/facebook, or if you get more pleasure out of being a nay sayer, carry on saying nay. Tongue

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary
