Sorry to hear that. I don't know, but 15 sounds a good age.

It hits you much harder than you might expect, doesn't it. Tell us about your cat - name, sex, any photos? I for one would love to hear about it. They are wonderful animals.

It had a good run for its money as thats 77 in cat years.

We've had four cats, but never had a cat reach 'dying of old age', as they run away or kick the bucket in an unfortunate way..

Now, we just rent the two nice black cats next door, and feed them cheese and cream, and we get stroking them to relieve our stresses and strains when they come in the house, and its a far better releationship than owning

It's always sad when you lose any pet. I have lost dogs & cats & it does hurt. I feel for you.

Sorry to hear that mate, we lost our last one three years ago the day after boxing day... Sophie had been with us 17 years, and was estimated at 2-3 years when we took in as a rescue cat.

After we moved we waited a while until this last July when we got our new cat Lady, she was a rescue cat again... hopefully she will be with us as long as Sophie was.
