Arrrrgh! a fine line between stalker and curiosity?

Twitter is making me feel like a stalker Sad , but i'm not.

Is it ok to scroll back through a persons tweets or is that stalker type behaviour? The person shouldn’t type it in public if they don’t want you to read it right?

And twitters block button doesn’t really block. Is the a way to block so I can’t be tempted to see their tweets ever again? (and no I have no willpowerSad)

My life is outside the internet, I just happen to spend some time on the internet. I hate computers and technology but as they are here to stay I have to learn to live with them, therefore I need the BLOCK BUTTON to block people. Angry

Never once logged into Twitter, not even out of curiosity.
I hate the way Facebook has turned friends/family into complete f***wits.
I can't imagine Twitter is any better.

One of the best inventions on facebook is the block button. What joy it would be if you could block annoying people in the real world Tongue .

Twitter is so much better than facebook, all it needs is a block button that works.

Took me forever and a major outage on Reviewer to register on Facebook.
I now use it for just a couple of groups and the odd game with not much else.
Frankly I'm quite happy that my relatives don't know my every move.

Twitter?
registered but never used. I've yet to see a reason I'd want to.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary

I'm registered on Twitter, but never really got into it, the only reason I've got an account is there is a few promotional things I've found you can only get by being a follower on twitter.

Saying that I only check every few months or when I specifically know something needs to be seen through twitter.

Saying that I remember when Sminty suggested about Facebook back in 2006 or something like that.  It was actually good then, messages and pictures.  No 3rd party apps and all that rubbish, or even status updates.

There were about 60 people in Llandudno on Facebook in total.  Now apparently it's in the top 5 places in the UK for people on it in comparison to population :s

On Facebook, you're missing nothing and everything at the same time.
By that, I mean that you're missing how people are obsessed with posting everything, even if it's nothing.
Like a friend of my wife's, who honestly posted photos of some binbags, with a comment that she'd tidied out her loft.
Then umpteen people gave her the thumbs-up 'like this' comment.
Oh for pete's sake, who cares!!!!
Or my bro-in-law, who 'contributes' ( I use the term loosely ) via his iphone all day.
It really seems to take over some people.

Like me, pleeeeeease, I'm interesting, Confused
