Sticking my head in again after 7 months. Decided to ditch the peripherals after we were given a challenge...
6yr old daughter got diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in Feb and was a helluva shock to all. First time I'd come across the illness but it amazes me how, now it affects us, I see it and cancer pop up a lot on telly. Probably always has been but I hear it better now I'm tuned into it.

Well, it's quite bad and there's at least 9 months of treatment left before we can know things for sure. Now things aren't so intense so just trying to find places to escape to if just for a few minutes.
Hope all is well with you all personally and on here...

Sorry to hear about your troubles and I hope it all goes well for you.

If your looking for a bit of distracting, brainless chat I'd say here was a pretty good choice.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary

Thanks guys. Yes, it's the parents usually that feel the most pain and not the fighters themselves.
