I stormed through The Chronicles of Riddick t'other day. Just as good second time through.
I've also been having a go with The Simpsons: Hit and Run. Very funny in places, but the missions are so bland, it's criminal. It's all either race to this point before the time runs out, or collect all the thingys before the time runs out. Definitely a "half hour here and there" kind of game.
Still, it is fun to wander around a virtual Springfield.

Played the first few levels of Fire Emblem Sacred Stones on the GBA.It's a good follow up to the first one.
I'm in a pickle on paper Mario 2.I've saved my game with both characters absolutely critical and no health pickups in sight......bah.
Just puchased Donkey Konga with Bongoes for £12.99.I've enjoyed the game(particularly Jungle Beat) but have received totally puzzled looks from friends when I tried to share the enjoyment.
From now on I will stay in my room to pound my bongos!

I beat Psi-Ops the other week. A tad disappointing, i have to say.
After having played Second Sight (which had worse reviews, on average) and really enjoying it, i was expecting something special from Psi-Ops. It's a decent enough game, and throwing soldiers around with the power of your mind is always fun. But the environments are so samey, the story is beyond pathetic, and the boss battles a poor imitation of the MGS series.
I've just started playing X-Men Legends, which has been on my "to get" list for a while now.
And i bought Project: Snowblind on the Xbox for £2.99. How's that for a bargain!

"Dozens of people spontaneously combust each year. It's just not really widely reported."
X-Men Legends was on my to-do list for a while so I traded Pariah for that and Sonic Heroes (for the GF, she loves sonic).
Im really liking it so far. The levelling up is cool and the chracters are all pretty nifty.
The only bug bears are that the AI can sometimes be as thick as pigs*** (jumping off cliffs to their doom) and the camera is either too tight or too high.
But all in all it seems to be a pretty decent blast.
Im interspersing that with 10 minute blasts on GTA: San andreas. Ive finished all the story missions so now im just doing all the fiddly crap to get 100%. At the moment im just razzing around san an on a BMX to get my skillz up to do the damn BMX challenge.

What im listening to (if youre interested)
I gave up on X-Men legends somewhere in the ...yawn... sewers.
I thought it started really well, but became over-monotonous after a few hours. A real shame. Although, p***ing about in the mansion was 8)
Project Snowblind was great, really just Deus Ex minus the RPG elements, but with a better FPS dynamic. Makes it more shallow, but hey, for 7 or so hours, who cares?
Playing Oddworld: Strangers Wrath right now. Good game, a little more linear than i was expecting, but i'm enjoying it.
Also having the odd blast on Burnout 3; Funnily enough, seeing as it reminds me of Road Rash a little, I "got hold" of the cracking grunge-era soundtrack from the PS/PC/3DO version and loaded it onto my custom soundtrack - cranked that baby all the way to 11!

"I did not achieve this position in life by having some snot-nosed punk leave my cheese out in the wind"
Be nosey - what i'm playing and what i'm listening to..
Bomberman on the DS. Best version of the game... EVER! 8 players over two screens on multi-player madness 8)
