Robin Hood 2010

just watched this, & it was truly awfull,  but from the reviews on IMDB it seems i'm in a minority....
does anyone think this is worth the 7 out of 10 it rates on IMDB ?

tbh,  i wasn't expecting much from it,  but it still managed to disapoint lol...  i really can't believe Russel Crow's jumping accent,  it's like he was "learning" english via those cd's you listen to while your asleep that are supposed to either empower your self esteem or teach you stuff.  only Mr Crow got a mixed bag narrated by random welsh/irish/lancashire/cockneys... who where all drunk while making the recordings...

i know i'll burn in hell for saying this,  but the Kevin Costner version was better by a long way (not that this is a recomendation of any kind .......)

I liked Prince of Thieves, so not bothered.  Still, I also like The Postman which seems to be universally reviled so hey...

Prince of Thieves was great, haven't seen the new one yet.  I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD so I can download it! Happy

I enjoyed it, accents dont bother me tbh, it was a very different take on the story, a prequel i guess, like the others i like costners version also but then i enjoyed pretty much all of his movies obviously in a minority in enjoying postman, waterworld, and field of dreams is one of my all time favorite movies Happy

I'm with you Chris, I thought it was awful.  Still need to watch the last 50 mins as I got so bored last night I went to bed!

Absolutely no desire whatsoever to see this picture.  The only good version of Robin Hood is either the 1938 Adventures of.. with Errol Flynn, or Maid Marian and her Merry Men.

Thought Prince of Thieves was crap, and Gladiator worse.
