loved the original.. never knew there was a second one.. but just tried to watch the made for tv (SyFy) third installment, my god, it's honestly the worst piece of tripe i've ever seen, & Micheal J Fox could do the CGI better with an ExoScetch 
some movies re good because they are Crap, but this is just plain awfull lol...
i should warn you, the trailer makes it look a hell of a lot better than it is...

I love the first Lake Placid but I am a real sucker for giant/killer animal movies.
Love the bit where the copper holds up a toe and says "Is this the man you saw?" and the woman says "He seemed taller."

Apparently Roxanne pallot from Emmerdale is in lake Placid 3, fully naked and boinking on the beach, presumably before getting eaten by a poorly rendered CGI gator
