I would have attached this to the other thread, but the search engine went ll chocolate teapot on me
There was a web-based challenge set up last week whereby you had to follow a set of clue in cyberspace and IRL which would lead you to a particular place at a certain time where
you would be shown the new trailer for Tron legacy
Turns out it was a bunch of cinemas - Duh
Anyhoo, to save all that thinking and walking, here ya go

There's no UK December release date, so looks like we'll be waiting months again just like UP!

Oh well also means we can buy the DVD earlier too. Does look interesting, the effects definitely get a thumbs up on that trailer.
I loved the original, still stands up today imho, even the effects still look good. This better be a decent legacy!

There's another trailer over at AICN, and while it still looks incredible, the CGI Jeff is going to completely ruin it for me unless they clean the jowls up

Um only watched it once, in HD, but what time in the trailer is he CGI?
So excited about this, the original is one of my fav all time films. Still stands up today I think, and like The Matrix the technology they mention is pretty solidly based in reality, as opposed to "it's a unix system" style Jurrasic Park crap!

(there was even a hint of it at the end of said teaser), and while impressive, it's still easy to see the join. As for the type of 3D being used, I'm hoping it's, as Disney boasts 'Real3D', and not that tacked-on-afterwards crap

I watched it again, the only bit that looked dodgy was the cgi Jeff at the very very end. Was impressed with the rest!
