Them1954 Great sci fi from 1954 The picture quality is stunning I expected a dodgy old transfer it looked like it was filmed yesterday only cost 1.99p seen it elsewhere for around the 20 pound mark. Confused

Lark Rise To Candleford .BBC 1 Suffered this tosh last night bad acting, bad everything, a mix of Heartbeat and Valium.

Sherlock Holmes Guy Richie's version, 50/50 on this one need to watch a few more times thought the plot was a bit stretched .... The villain could have achieved the same results with a bit of dynamite.. Happy

Apocalypto. BBC 2 Caught this film last night and liked it a lot, the story could have had a bit more meat on it but I will buy this film the picture quality is top notch and for you BD fans its available for less than 7 quid. Happy

Apocalypto I considered that to fill in the long weekend, watching later tonight Being Human, Oh Lost is on as well tonight. Caprica naturally went on hold for Vancouver.

I consider myself an optimist, albeit an optimist with cynical tendencies and a dark side that Lucifer himself would find a little creepy. (Perhaps you’ve noticed.) You don’t normally associate cynicism with an upbeat pov. But I have exactly that combination and will defend it.

I loved Paris too Happy ooeer, what a body count, semi decent twist or 2 and the pulp fiction nod had me rolling lol, I see a franchise in the offing. Also watched old dogs, travolta and robin williams which i had never heard of, disney comedy so family friendly, not the best but ok for couple of hours

Acknowledging a much better film like Pulp Fiction seems silly to me, especially as that was just about his best performance of recent times. But hey ho... Thought 'From Paris' was okay, but pretty bland.

Watched Triangle last night, which I'm still mulling over. Also Fantastic Mr. Fox, which I really couldn't get into. And it's most definitely not a kid's film, especially when the characters talk about 'existentialism', and I thought the repeated use of the word 'cuss' was completely unnecessary.

I loved Triangle! A proper, complex psychological horror that kept my brain working overtime for days afterwards. Almost everyone I've shown it to said it was s*** though Confused

One of my favourite films of last year in fact.
