Actually, what you got was a lot better than the alternative.

They originally shot the epilogue with the actors looking MUCH older, at least in their late 40s, when someone pointed out that they're only supposed to be 36/35. They had to reshoot 90% of the sequence at great expense. To be honest, I don't look that different now from when I ws 17. Shorter hair and little portlier, but I think they did a cracking job
