All up apart from Preston, because (I think) everyone forgot he was in there.

The Coolio diary room chat did make me laugh, no 'would you like to go back into the house and talk to your housemates/sleep on it and come and see Big Brother in the morning/Big Brother has to make arrangements before a housemate can leave' etc just

Coolio - 'I want to Leave'
Big Brother - 'the door to your right is open'

LOL

I have to admit the initial line up was poor, but the show has got better as its gone on with the introduction of 'classic' Big Brother tasks/elements and a few cameo's from former housemates

All over, a nice send off I thought.

Glad Brian won.

No more big brother ever! Although rumours that Channel 5 have bought it abound, it'll never be the same though.

Whatever you think about the series, you have to admire the creation of a single TV show that managed to provide more hours a week than the news.

I think it's been brilliant down the years. I'm an unashamed fan.

Channel 4 have been mad to let it sink. Trouble is, every year they have to chase ratings so they mess around with the format and fabricate more drama. I think it works best when they just let it be. It's not the explosive arguments, controversy and wine bottle abuse that makes the programme (okay, those bits can be good), it's the everyday, kitchen sink interactions that we can identify with.

Like you say, Channel 5 will probably take it over, but it won't be the same. They'll probably try and make it into more of a salacious game show.

I did think Ch4 went a bit overboard last night though. It was a bit of a marathon.

Yeah I agree, I think in some respects the tasks have become too much of the show over the final few years. Also I've never liked them bringing in new housemates.

The peak for me will always be Fight Night, it was the inevitable build up that BB was always working towards. Putting crazier people into the house, stirring things up more and more and just watching what happened.

I never particularly liked Nadia, I thought she was just as to blame for that night as Marco and Emma. Her time back in the UBB house showed the same side unpleasant of her from back then.

I hear she's taken an overdose, which was why she wasn't there on Friday, which is sad. I don't think it is easy being a transexual at the best of times, let alone with the media scrutiny and cheap tabloid jibes.

Anyway, what was my point? Heh, oh yeah. I think after Fight Night, anytime anyone got a bit angry they started calling them into the diary room and calming them down. Not that I want to see Jerry Springer style antics on BB, just that the whole format seemed to become a tiny bit held back after that.
