Not too big for it but it's an awful name. Ashley is running the club as a business and if I'm honest it's how a football club should be run. We'd see less clubs going into administration if they were. No other business would run with ~80% expenditure on staff wages, it's just not a sound business model.
When Leicester moved over the road from Filbert Street. We said the new place would never be called the Walkers Stadium. It would still be Filbert something. Now its changed to the King Power Stadium it feels odd not saying the Walkers.
At least they ditched the Walkers Bowl when they tried that one on.

I got used to The Emirates quite quickly.
Toon fans should be grateful Ashely doesn't own Poundstretcher.

To be fair though it was 'The Emirates' fromwhen it opened.
If they'd tried to rename Highbury I suspect there would have been a modicum of disquiet.
There's a small percentage who still refer to the new gaff as Ashburton Grove.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary
