Bezzawezza says...
BTW the big transfer news this week is that Dirty Leeds have signed midfield general/ dirty footballer Michael Brown on a free from Portsmouth.
Corrected for you
Yeah I'd agree on Gibbs being a reliable option on back up. If he was going to sign a new contract selling him for £7million was a good move.
In fairness at the moment without Fabregas and Nasri going Arsenal are still as good as the team that challenged for the most part of last season. Wilshere will probably be that bit more experienced now, Ramsey looked like he was coming back to full match fitness at the late stages of last season also, which could be a big boost.
Never since Gervinho so don't know much about him, but sure there will be one or two more signings before the end (rumour is Mata may be coming in which personally, is the preferred option over Downing).

Ivory Coast Gervinho signed. In an interview, "It's a great feeling to be an Arsenal player. I've always dreamed to play for this club," he said, before moving to Manchester City for 100,000,000 a week in 2014.

You sure on Tevez?
Corinthians had denied a deal had been reached and Sky Sports is still showing that as the lastest thing?

Mancini says it has been agreed, with only personal terms left to sort out.
