Was in terms of no hardcore challenges (except for one by Scholes), but the game was better than the last few shields I have seen. Means nothing though even the players and manager acknowledged that in the interviews.

No, they both went for it. Chelsea had a lot of possession but did nothing much with it, Manchester United on the other hand were quite dangerous near the goalmouth. A little pepping of our midfield & I think we will be the team to beat.

It wasn't a comedy goal. He was showboating, he kicked the ball to his head & headed it into the net, that's how much time he had.

Try about 3.30 minutes into it.

He didn't seem to connect properly with the ball Paull. The ball spun up and hit his head (or nose). I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant.

Ok game for a friendly though and Utd were deserved winners.
