Was in terms of no hardcore challenges (except for one by Scholes), but the game was better than the last few shields I have seen. Means nothing though even the players and manager acknowledged that in the interviews.

Chelsea had a lot of possession but did nothing much with it, Manchester United on the other hand were quite dangerous near the goalmouth. A little pepping of our midfield & I think we will be the team to beat.

He didn't seem to connect properly with the ball Paull. The ball spun up and hit his head (or nose). I'm pretty sure it wasn't meant.
Ok game for a friendly though and Utd were deserved winners.
