Don't hold your breath, the only noises I'm hearing is that there will be no more change than usual.
So two or three potential headline signings though not necessarily show stoppers.
Just as likely to see a lot go and be replaced by returning loanees and juniors.
Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary
I'm kind of hoping that with talk of Arsenal chasing certain transfers before the season is even over, and a list of players expected to go, it's a sign that he accepts the team needs more experience. But time will tell. ![]()

83, 72, 75, 68.
Points tally from the last four seasons and alternating 3rd and fourth place. I'm afraid that doesn't show much progression to me so just more of the same and we'll be in for another groundhog season.
I think he's now reached the point where even one of the minor cups (Carling or FA) won't be seen as enough.
Whoever leaves or joins I think the problem lies with Wenger himself. Too much control and responsibility taken on himself and the board allowing that to happen.
Somehow the team, not the individuals within it, needs to grow a pair and coalesce because at the moment we have a group of individuals who may be good mates but on the pitch they appear rudderless.
I don't think it's enough to get one Adams type figure though that may be the spark it needs to fire the others up.

This is probably going to be the same for everyone, apart from Man City.
They'll sign the showstoppers.
They might actually want them, or they might just sign them to stop other teams doing so.

Still, in better news, Wilshere is not going to the under 21s UEFA championship. He has looked a bit tired in the last 2 months.

I wonder how far up his back Pearce had his arm before saying "Oh alright then".
If Abramovic wants the calibre of manager that his ambitions demand I'd say he'll have to spend big.
Or could we get lucky and Avram Grant goes back as the shop front whilst Abramovic picks the team.
