All, thought I should warn you of a dodgy music service.

I bought a "Top 40" download voucher from ebuyer valid for "DATZ.com"
However, whilst you can create an account and use vouchers, you can't download the songs.

It seems to be that unless you have a ".co.uk" email address they don't think you're in the UK and therefore won't allow you to download anything. Instead of providing a nice error they say something like:
Quote:
soapDx3SalesService:newOrder SoapError: 0016:This order's country is not permitted to sell this product:3499135

You can't post a message to their customer services (the form just returns to blank values after submitting).
I've tried calling them for over an hour this morning already and no-one picks up the phone.

So for now I've contacted ebuyer to ask them what should be done, since technically it's Datz's system that's at fault, but I bought the voucher from ebuyer...so right now I think ebuyer should refund me, but they're checking to see what the deal is and will contact me later.

I'm still awaiting Ebuyer's response on this.
I'll post back when they give me an update.

You tried making a Hotmail.co.uk account?
Failing that Miles, I could make you a forwarding or pop3 one on Choosefirst that might let you access it if you like?

Thanks mate, but I've already registered the voucher on my Gmail account. So it's useless now.
I'm going to get Ebuyer to refund me on it.

Ebuyer have agreed to refund me for it. Just on the phone to them now arranging the RMA.
I'm pleased with that.
