Quick question.. Play haven't gone on August holidays have they?
Placed an order for an in stock dvd (dispatch within 4-5 day) on August 3rd, and yet the status today is still pending as 'order taken?'. Can't find an email address to ask them whats up.. unless they've all gone on their august holidays?? for info, movie was force ten from navarone (order with play and not their ebay option).

I ordered the original Inglorious Bastards for £2.99 on Thurs/Fri and got an email either Fri or Sat evening advising that it had been dispatched, but hadnt turned up today but guessing it will tomorrow.

I have on occasion had things not delivered from Play and rung them up and they say it's been dispeatched and then the item mysteriously arrives a couple of days later.

Ah.. just got an email from Play.. Said they have to re-stock this dvd.. even if site said in stock.. so will take a few more days.. but I did have to guess their email address was sales@play.com.. i didn't see that advertised on their site !!
Anyway, am happy with play.. got my shipping news dvd today

Don't know whats going on with Play at the moment. Ordered a Blu-Ray and three of the same title came over 2 days. Ordered another one and two of them came.
Got an email from them telling me to return the extras!

Ordered 2 8gb Micro SDHC cards from Play last Saturday and despite the bank holiday they arrived today
Well pleased seeming as my last order with them was two years ago

Which technically I'm not sure you have to. Isn't there some rule about unsolicited goods? Maybe this applies?

My last order with Play was far from satisfactory: the Pan's Labyrinth BD moved from Ordered to Packing where it stayed for 19 days before being shipped!
After all that time being packed, I was slightly disappointed it only came in a cardboard packet and not a jiffy bag the size of a space hopper!
