SELECT CHEAPER. STATE IN STOCK........HARDLY EVER TRUE!!

Have now wasted time on 6 occasions trying to get dvds from this woefully performing company.

Have only ever ordered items shown as "IN STOCK" but on each occasion they eventually reply stating their order system/suppliers etc "let them down on this occasion" or some such waffle/excuses.

Even had a [presumed?] manager emailing stating in long and boring detail how they had improved their system and how confident he was in their current set-up, he urged me to return to shop with them AND he would give me some money off!

Didn't state that involved time consuming search around the site trying to find where a code might be entered........and, having failed to discover the place; still having to email them on this, wait for reply that wasn't bot generated and finally being able to try to order at the discount.

AND THEN days later get the same old email......."suppliers let them down on this occasion" ie stating "IN STOCK" still means item "NOT IN STOCK"!!!

No matter how cheap their offers might look; if you want to waste your valuable time searching, ordering and then chasing them for information on when the IN STOCK item will ever actually BECOME IN STOCK; then use SELECT CHEAPER.

If you would prefer to value your time in £s per hour you will find that you are not saving anything by trying to shop with them.

Far better to stick with the reliable but perhaps slightly higher priced [though generally they are often "cheaper to select!"] AMAZON/PLAY/HMV............all of whom I have used for years, and found helpful and speedy re dispatch/refunds/replacements/replying etc.

DESELECT SELECT CHEAPER!!

I ordered 3 CDs from them last week(via Amazon) on the same day, 2 arrived within a couple of days, regarding the other one, i got a "problem with supplier" email, and got another email yesterday, apologising for the delay.

it does in the email explain how to cancel the order if I want to, so I may leave it a few more days, before cancelling

email arrived yesterday saying cd has been shipped, so if you're in no rush they're good, maybe not best company to use if buying last minute gifts for loved ones.

I placed an order for 1 CD from SelectCheaper in early December. On the 16th December I received notification of despatch.

On the 31st December I sent a query by e-mail regarding non-delivery. On the 9th January I sent another e-mail querying why they had not answered to my first query.

It is now 9th February and still no word. I will not use SelectCheeaper again and I would advise anyone else to avoid them also.
