sent a couple of incorrect items, quickly refunded postage sent correct item on their receipt of returned item.

however, there sizing of clothes is pretty bad, not always accurate, when I returned some shorts where they had sent wrong size (they mis "translated" l, xl etc to size in inches") they wouldn't refund postage Sad

Nitrotek.co.uk - A great little Hobby RC car site i found when looking for a car for my Son, great customer service, free delivery and currently sitting in my favourites list.

Ebuyer - Had been using them for years but recently i'm kind of a little bit really ****ed off with them. I ordered a cheap 19" F&H HD tv from them at the beginning of October, Everything went great for 4 weeks then the tv just died, back to ebuyer it went where my fault was recognised and repaired. Back it came where it worked for 2 days and the same thing happened, back to Ebuyer where the fault was recognised and repaired again. Then it came back around the 18th of December where it rattled when i pulled it from the box and the screen had slid down half an inch on the left hand side. Tried ringing everyday to be told i was at least 35th in the queue, Like i've got time for that a week before Xmas. I am not impressed at all and expect a full replacement or refund this time around. On the plus side, it has a 3 year warrenty. I think i'm gonna ****ing need it.
Merry Christmas
Regards
Bryan

good - DV247.com - ordered an alesis electronic drumkit for my son
arrived promptly next day. top email correspondence too. highly recommended.

not so good - ebuyer - ordered an item with next day delivery and it didn't
arrive for two days. complained via email and was not even offered a postage
refund.

bad - erm, none that i can think of tbh.

Competent

Pleasantly surprised by Staples. My mother has a char from them that had a broken wheel. I went to the branch to see if I could buy a replacement wheel and was fobbed off being told that I should have bought insurance.

I contacted their head office, who were appalled at the salesperson's attitude. The manager of the branch subsequently got in touch. The assistant manager put a replacement chair in his car, drove it to my folk's bungalow and assembled it for them. Fantastic! Not the sort of personal service you'd expect from a big chain store.

Do Estate Agents count as Retailers? I know we expect them all to be full of lies, but my experiences with Connells show them to abuse that privilege.
