Just had 2 DVDs delivered 4 wks after debiting my bank acct. Despite 1 x telecon and loads of e-mail absolutely nothing from customer( is there such a thing at Play247?) service apart from a bland e-mail offering to help me - not them me - trace the missing package. These guys had a lot of business from me but with others like Futureent around I am going elsewhere. If Play247 cannot get their act together - vote with your keyboards. I have just ordered 3 of the 7 cancelled DVDs with Futureent and will be interested how long they take - I also saved 2 pounds against Play247 prices!! I will also probably continue with Encoredirect since they appear to have sorted their recent probs out.
yeah i've been waiting a week for some hong kong legends titles.
not on.

Same here - waiting three weeks for their 'available within 24 hours' sh*t! These DVD's still show that even tho' they obviously ain't. Had no luck in contacting either by 'phone or email.
Told them to cancel order and return my money.
One interesting point is that I checked on the order status on 16th Oct and it was 'processing' then suddenly (after my email?) it showed 'posted on 6th' - the day I placed order!! LIARS! - I have screen prints to prove it!
Not just saying this but I've been reading your problems for the last few weeks and I've had none got Phantom Menace two days after it came out although when I ordered my X Files box sets I got them the day they came out.
So I shouldn't order Godfather box set then?
Well, in Play247's support I've ordered about 30 items off them this year and have had no problems, whatever Region.
As above, i've never had any problems with Play's delivery times. Usually takes just a few days.
May as well chuck in my 2 pence sterling...
Yup, never had any problems either. Only minor things, such as taking a couple of days to process an order, but I can live with that, they've always been good in the past. Like I said in another post (although only speculation), it's probably just down to an unexpected increase in customers and/or orders...or something...maybe.
