Has anyone had problems dealing with them?

I've been trying to cancel my account for 2 months.

Free trial ring any bells?

I've had exactly the same problem. I cancelled my so called free trial and yet was billed for it. I have lost count of how many times I have emailed them - all have been ignored.

I would warn anybody thinking of joining to think very hard before giving this bunch of cowboys their credit card details.

If anyone has a telephone number and/or address for them I would be very grateful.

Best thing to do is to freeze your account. which is an option available to you.

Hi

I've had real problems since my account was moved over to them from moviechoices....no DVDs and I can't login to the site...no response yet to my emails

I had no problems at al with them. I had a two week free trial and then had two months that I paid for. Froze my account for three weeks and then I cancelled it with no problem at all.

Try adding MC/ (MC forward slash without any spaces) to the start of your e-mail address and then type in your old Movie Choices password - should do the trick Happy

Had nothing but crap from them. Used the free trial, cancelled well in advance, still got billed. Emailed them, took 3 emails and 10 days to get a response. I was promised a refund within 3 days.

TOOK 14 DAYS TO GET A REFUND.

My account has recently been moved to lovefilm from Moviechoices.

I have had no problems with the site & have received 4 DVD's within the last week & a half.

I guess I have been lucky.

I still prefer the Moviechoices setup over Lovefilm & I guess I will see what happens after a couple of weeks when the rentals list starts to slow down.

Write to your credit card company telling them you have written to LoveFilm cancelling your subscription. They have to honour their bills I think for one month from that date to allow any owed money to be collected by Lovefilm, but after that they will stop any further attempts to bill you. If one gets through after this tell them and they will refund the money to your account.

Ok, I admit it, I have a Phillips DVDR70 (dons hard hat and jumps in bunker ready for incoming verbal abuse!)
