What do you know I received my refund from DIAGE. Was a quid less that what those thieving b@stards took from me but at least it is better than nothing. Here is the stern email I sent them before I received my refund.

Quote:
Michael,

I have still not received back the money your company illegally stole from me. You are nothing but a criminal and I will be visiting one of your branches. If seeing you in person is what I need to do to claw back that money you stole then that's what I am going to do.

I won't bother making an appointment to see you as you obviously did not make an appointment when you took my money.

Recommend you all write similar emails as mine obvioulsy did the trick. Winking

Magic_ians did they give you a full refund or did you end up losing out on a few quid because of the exchange rate? They refunded me but I lost out on a few quid, no doubt they will blame the exchange rate for this.

My bank told me today that I will have a full refund, they just need me to sign a form saying that I didn't sanction the transaction.

Well done my bank, I've had to do NOTHING aside from sign this form, and its taken only a couple of days.

What bank are you with? Barclays were absolutely crap in dealing with this problem, @sses have still yet to send me a dispute form. As soon as I reported the problem to my bank I got the impression they did not give a s***. A big thumbs down to barclays fraud team. Angry

I am always surprised by what credit card companies do and do not do. My visa is with the Nationwide and they have been good, as have American Express.

When I questioned a duplicate entry, they took it off and said they would handle it.

When Splash went under, I told them and got an immediate refund, few questions asked (just mentioned the item on the statement).

I do spend £5,000 pa though via a credit card (not that high until I did multi region DVD price checks and using this site mind).

First Trust Bank . If I'm wrong, tell me, but I think you guys still have TSB? We in Northern Ireland used to have TSB until about a decade ago when they all vanished & became First Trust! First Trust are part of the AIB (Allied Irish Bank) now, so things might've changed since then.

I've just been done by "Computer Services" for £172 at midnight last night. Barclay's are looking into it. Yep, I recently purchased, for the first time, from DVD Pacific. Never again!
