Ordered a couple of DVD's from play a couple of weeks ago, they were dispatched on 13/12/02 and up till last night I still haven't received the goods. I know it's Xmas and the post tends to slow down a bit, but stuff I've ordered from other sites has arrived, and a different order from Play ordered on Sunday was delivered yesterday (though this one was recorded delivery). So how long should I wait before contacting Play?
I think Play operate a 14 day policy of waiting before they send you another one. I ordered Goldmember on 29th November which never turned up (although Minority report, ordered the day afterwards, turned up in three days). I had to wait until 12th December before they sent another one out which arrived on the 16th. You may have a bit of a wait on your hands mate..mind you, having said that I bet they turn up now
.
Still waiting, contacted Play who are sending the order out again, also still waiting for an order from Tesco.
Received these parcels last Saturday, postie left them on the doorstep, if this was done before my friendly neighbourhood brickies probably had 'em. (No offence to honest brickies, one of the foremen on the estate warned several people not to leave anything outside after a spate of thieving)
Would you f'ing believe it, a package seems to have gone missing again. Ordered Buffy S3 from Play, was despatched last Friday, still nothing. Now I'm getting suspicious, tried to speak to the sorting office collection point, but they weren't answering the phone, I'll give it till Tuesday before contacting Play, but I feel like Play will see me as dodgy as it will be the second time in as many weeks.
I orderd T2 about 1am in the morning about 36 later hours checked my order on website and there was nothing there, (twats I thought) went down stairs and it was there on the passage carpet.( thank you postie).
Brilliant buy at £5.99 single disc /directors cut.DTS

Or they'll see your postie as dodgy, if you keep ringing up saying stuff hasn't arrived then they will start sending them recorded (if they have common sense). They'll have to bite the bullet for the extra postage charge.
