Is yours an iPhone 2g or 3g Ogs?
it's an 8gig 3g model, tbh, after the nightmare you had, thats the main reason i'm worrying about changing the back over..
Sorry Ogg not had a chance to test the audio thing been away, will get on it this weekend and report back.
no probs, from what i can gather there are quite a few good audio player apps for android, i'm hoping i can confirm one of them will do the job the way i want it to

If you want me to try a specific one let me know assuming its free or freeish don't mind paying a couple of squid might make me start listening to audio books, though I prefer the more traditional method.

hmm.. it would seem my desire (on voda) is unlocked straight out of the box. tried my current "3" sim
in it and it worked!

I've had my Desire for two weeks now and its frankly superb!

My upgrade with O2 is due next week.
Now as most of you know Im slightly *ahem* technically challenged so as much as I want this phone I am concerned it may be a bit too much for me 
Nothing (and I mean nothing!) else appeals to me at the mo and Im too impatient to 'wait and see what comes up over the next few months'
Have played with friends i-phones and managed to use them straight off with no problems so I should be ok with the Desire shouldnt I?!
