I've just inherited Sarahs Nokia 5800 as she is now the proud mother of an iPhone 3GS, born Sunday 28th Feb weighing 0 lb & 5 oz.
Spent most of last night updating the software to Symbian v3 and loading Ovi maps on as well as a few other apps.
Just wondered if anyone had set twitter up on one and if so how did you do it and what (if any) application didi you use?
I have never used Twitter before, just heard it mentioned on the radio and tv so only have a very basic understanding of it, I have no intention of posting anything, just fancied following some of the Formula 1 teams as they seem to be posting lots of boring facts, figures & information that I find facinating!
With the F1 season about to start I thought this could be useful!
All the best
Gerald.

Remove these cutleries
From my knees...
I've got the 5800 but don't tweet, so haven't tried to load Twitter. The Facebook app works ok though.
Fring is a pretty good app that integrates voip phone, facebook, IM, twitter, etc in one service. Can't guarantee if it'll work with your flavour of symbian, but worth a look (I use it with Windows Mobile). It's free btw.
I installed SnapTu from the Ovi store and it seems ok, does all sorts of things including twitter, facebook, news, weather, cinema listings, pup guides etc.
Set myself up on twitter, it seems to be working but nowhere near as exciting as I thought it would be.
All the best
Gerald.
