Windows explorer keeps closing down.

I don't believe it, this is after a new windows 7 install. All I've done ios take of the trend virus protector & installed AVG. All was well for a while but now Windows explorer keeps saying there is a fault & closes down. Any ideas?

Before the windows 7 install I exported & re imported my favourites could that have anything to do with it?

favourites shouldn't effect it, it's more likely when trend was removed, one of the plugins it used to interact with windows has gone so windows is upset.

if you're lucky, a windows update may fix it as it could update the files that have got screwed up.

A windows update was done shortly afterwards & at the moment all is well. Thanks.

This program may fix it if you know how to use it but do a restore point just in case you mess up.
