No idea on price, or controls:

I'd seriously consider buying it if the controls are as good as Mortal Kombat and the price is under £1:

Hopefully they won't go the way of rip off Street Fighter.

We will pay the price but we will not count the cost..

Oh lol, £10, who are they kidding.
What good bits have they taken out? Are they doing a "Street Fighter" rip off and selling you first the game, and then making you pay for more fighters?

..but to summarise..

But since both players are at the same disadvantage that's not so much of a problem in multiplayer. Oh, except there is no multiplayer. And there's no Mission Mode either, so all you can do is play against the computer in Arcade, Time Attack and two Survival modes.
Apart from the core combat there are three things that SoulCalibur is best remembered for: the graphics, the multiplayer, and the Mission Mode. This version gets the graphics right, even if their age means they can no longer be considered a primary attraction. But having a one-on-one fighter where you can't fight real opponents is like having Call Of Duty or Battlefield without a multiplayer, and where the only single-player is a deathmatch against computer-controlled bots.
To this day Mission Mode remains one of the best single-player modes in any fighter, with a long quest-like campaign that not only introduces an element of storytelling but also teaches you the complexities of each character's moveset in a bite-sized and accessible way.Ste
