Hi Guys, oh happy new year btw

OK been looking at a few repeaters as getting a very weak wifi signal in bedroom, from the router.
Does any repeater work with any router, and are they easy to set up?

Thanks!

fairly straightforward tbh.

have you considered using homeplugs / powerline adaptors?

much easier and more effective.

another vote for homeplugs,  But,  i would suggest getting only one pair to try first,  homplugs have been great for me untill i moved to where i am at the moment, for some reason i get very poor performance in this house, & have had to go back to wifi,  to be fair, my homeplugs are the older 54meg ones, on the 200/500/1gig plugs i probably wouldnt be having any issues.

Hi Dave,

basically, you connect one to a LAN port on your router, then plug the
homeplug into an electrical outlet. plug another in upstairs and then
connect it to the ethernet port on your laptop / pc.

homeplugs use your electrical mains as a network.

dead easy Happy
