No, I'm not kidding. ![]()
Supposedly improved Javascript performance, which should equal Chrome and in some cases surpass it (allegedly).

I used to be with it, but then they changed what 'it' was.
Now, what I'm with isn't it, and what's 'it' seems weird and scary
Web Browser Grand Prix VIII: Chrome 16, Firefox 9, And Mac OS X

it scores well in their grand prix, which is largely irrelevant to me at the mo, as I just use Firefox 'cos I like it the best, and generally don't run time trials on my browsing, but I guess over a year or so you could save some time ![]()
it's interesting as well as a browser, it's also an OS war, 'cos we don't get many of them ![]()
I think the only things I've learned from skim reading that article are:
1) if I'm using MS Windows, Safari is prob not best browser to use
2) I'm using a Mac, Opera is prob not best browser to use

I prefer Firefox too. No problems with add-ons and FF9 here, but then I only have Adblock and Down Them All. I don't like too many add-ons as the memory use shoots up (as you would expect it to), and I don't have much use for anything more tbh. Occasionally use Chrome, but I still end up back on FF. Not much between them performance wise these days, either on Linux or Windows in my personal experience.
I use firefox, because it has the best webdev/debugger (Firebug), which also probably causes it to eat all this ram. ![]()
