DAMN THEM!!!! DAMN.... THEM!!!! I guess partly because they are the cheapest.
Their website has an option to sign up for notification when they have more in, no idea when this will be though. So much for the antenna problem putting people off!
Snag here is, my old iPhone 2G is listed on ebay and runs out on Sunday, so come next week I'll have no phone at all!

Bummer. I hope it isn't too much longer you have to wait. Mine turned up last week after a 3 week wait from Apple.
I think you'll notice a massive speed improvement from the original generation to the fourth gen. My wife has just switched from her 2G to a 3GS so she's pretty happy. I went from a 3G to a 4.
So we now have all the generations of iphones in our house ![]()
(Until I give the 3G to my brother).
A month???? ![]()

I may suffer forking out the extra £60 to stay with Orange after all, having done a bit of research on 3G coverage for each network. Found this handy link...

If you click on the maps at the bottom of the article you can easily flick between them to check. Orange is definitely way better than O2 (who Tesco use).

When I was on Orange I found the signal horrendous and constantly dropped calls.
Few mates up here on Orange cos they got good deals, horrendous signal reception, constant dropped calls and other issues (one pal has to hang out of his bedroom window to take a call cos the phone won't work anywhere else in the house when my O2 iphone works fine... his is a blackberry).
Looking at those maps it also shows Three as good for 3G signal. Again, I don't know anyone in the country with a Three phone who doesn't complain about the lack of signal.
Maybe that's just the 2G signal for calls but I was under the impression the stronger the 3G signal it stands to reason the stronger the call signal....?

I'd also consider "3" rather than Orange. I used to have an Orange phone with work but was very happy when they switched me to Vodafone, since I used to get horrible probs with reception and I live within the M25 which is supposed to have great coverage!
I'm currently on Orange, but only 2G, never have a problem with reception. I'm within the M25.
However, browsing using EDGE on Orange seems to be next to non-existent, I guess they've spent all their cash on 3G.
